The Victoria Group a Partner in the Perspectives and Development of Serbian Agriculture in the Coming Decade Seminar

As a partner in the project, the Victoria Group supported the organisation of the second seminar of students of Belgrade University’s Faculty of Agriculture, entitled the Perspectives and Development of Serbian Agriculture in the Coming Decade, which took place on Zlatibor Mountain from 10 to 14 April 2013. The seminar gathered around 400 student representatives with the aim of providing guidance to young experts, encouraging cooperation between agricultural faculties and colleges, and promoting agriculture as one of the most profitable industries.

Besides the support provided in the organisation of the event, our company also contributed to the seminar through three presentations given by our colleagues: Aleksandar Stanković of Victoriaoil, who spoke about the potentials of producing biodiesel in Serbia; Goran Stanković of Victoria Logistics, who discussed the importance of grains exports for Serbian agriculture; and Marija Tatarević, who presented the entire business system and the company as an employer. Both the students and their professors were very interested in the presentations, noting that they often referred to the Victoria Group as a best practice example in their lectures.
