The Association of Agricultural Journalists of the Agropress and Agribusiness magazines held the traditional event called "The Evening of the Record-holders in Crop Production," on December 12th in Belgrade. The awards were presented to the most successful farmers who are engaged in field and vegetable crops production, and the event was attended by representatives of farmers' associations, companies in the agribusiness and the record-holders in the production of wheat, corn, sunflower and sugar beet.

The Serbian Association of Managers (SAM), a national organization that brings together over 300 renowned professionals from various fields of business, presented the annual awards in 11 categories on Monday, December 15th.

Sojaprotein participated in the largest European fair in the animal feed segment, EuroTier 2014, held in Hanover from 11-14 November. At this fair, held every other year, over 2,000 exhibitors from 48 countries presented their portfolio intended for animal breeding and nutrition, and the number of visitors exceeded 150,000 this year.

Sojaprotein, a member of the Victoria Group, participated on the 2nd International Congress "Food technology, quality, and safety" and the 16th International Symposium "Feed technology," which were held from October 28 - 30, organized by the Institute of Food Technology of the University of Novi Sad. For the first time, these two events united to jointly promote research, development, innovation, and education in the field of food technology for human and animal consumption.

The “Food for Europe” agricultural forum took place for the 4th time in Subotica on 22 and 23 October, organised by the Economic Institute in Belgrade and the Serbian Association of Agricultural Economists. The forum attracted great attention from both the public and the private sectors in the areas of agriculture and the food processing industry, and besides representatives of agribusiness from the country and the region, representatives of international organisations, the academic community, and farmers’ associations took part.

The sunflower harvest has finished, while the soybean harvest is drawing to an end. Due to the record purchase the company undertook this year, providing the raw material for a maximum capacity of Sojaprotein and Victoriaoil factories, we decided to take another step in educating our consumers and the public on how soybean and sunflower products end up on the dining table.

At the “My Choice 2014” award ceremony, the company Victoria Group was recognised for its investments in the healthcare sector, namely for the refurbishing of the Emergency Urology department of the Emergency Centre of the Clinical Centre of Serbia. A donation of EUR 200,000, made by Victoria Group in 2013, was used to construct two state-of-the–art operating rooms for liver and kidney transplants, and an intensive care unit for patients in post-operational recovery.

Complying with its quality policy and commitment to continually improve operations, Sojaprotein, a member of Victoria Group, has completed certification according to the ISCC standard and receipt of certified soybean as well as production of soya oil in accordance with ISCC requirements is expected in the next period. ISCC is an internationally accepted certification system for sustainability and gas emissions with which Sojaprotein proves compliance with the EU's Renewable Energy Directive.
