Today, representatives of Victoria Group and the Emergency Centre officially opened the renovated Emergency Department of Urology, at the Clinical Centre of Serbia. This grant from Victoria Group has enabled the construction of two state-of-the-art operating theatres, where liver and kidney transplantations will be performed, as well as an intensive care unit for the post-operative recovery of patients.

Victoria Group has awarded Ivana Španović and Emir Bekrić each with gift cheques for RSD 570,000 for their success achieved so far in sport. On this occasion, an agreement on cooperation with the Athletics Federation of Serbia was signed regarding a three-year sponsorship for Amela Terzić’s preparations for the 2016 Olympic Games.

Sojaprotein participated on the fair SPACE in Rennes, France, from 10 to 13 September 2013. This fair, as one of the three most important European events for cattle industry, gathers exhibitors of feed, pharmaceuticals and equipment from Europe, while attracting visitors from all over the world.

Victoria Group is the main sponsor of 135th seminar of European Association of Agricultural Economists, organized in Belgrade from 28 to 30 August. The conference gathered over 150 domestic and foreign experts in the field of agricultural economy. Main topic of this year's lectures and workshops are Doha negotiations, challenges of global agricultural trade and future of multilateral trading system in WTO.

Victoria Group traditionally supports the popular festival Gospojina in Novi Bečej, organized for the 20th time this year from 22 to 27 August. The event gathers a large number of visitors from all around Serbia, giving them the opportunity to taste fish soup on cooking contest, watch the horse carriage show or enjoy the tamburitza music. Many famous musicians from the Balkans region will be performing this year as well. Over 200,000 visitors are expected this year.

Victoria Group employees have participated in a major volunteer action called “Our Belgrade”, which took place in Kalemegdan on 1 June organised by the Business Leaders Forum.

As part of the 80th International Agriculture Fair, a regional conference titled “Importance of Labelling NON GMO Products”, organised by the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ, the Danube Soya Association and the Novi Sad Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, was held on 23 May 2013. Victoria Group participated in both the presentation and round table with James King, General Manager of Sojaprotein, which operates as part of the Group, and Natalija Kurjak, Victoria Group’s Relationship Marketing Manager.
